My favourite ever (and perhaps a little embarrassing) film, ever.........

Robin Hood. Prince of thieves.

I just love it.

My best ever present was when DH bought me the video. He put the DVD in my stocking at Christmas last. I may have cried a bit.
The Bryan Adams song makes me fill up every time.

I am ashamed that I have just written this and my favourite film isn't something intelligent and high brow but I am a bit post-nights-deletions and I have had wine.

Not embarrassing at all! I love Robin Hood. My favourite is Labyrinth so wouldn't be one to criticise anyway! Grin

Yes to all of the above ... Especially xXx and Con Air. My absolute favourite though is Rio Bravo with John Wayne and Dean Martin. It's on my iPad and I watch it at least once or twice a week ...whenever I'm in the kitchen cooking it's on. I could act it out at this stage Blush

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - the film version with Howard Keel and Jane Powell. I have seen it at various theatres so many times too though. 3 year old DS loves it too Blush Blush

Twilight saga (I love them all!) All the films you've mentioned are brilliant though.

Guardians of the Galaxy. I think it's the soundtrack that does it. Not my usual cup of tea but I've seen it 5 times already. Chris Pratt is also jolly attractive, so that helps.

A Star is Born. The Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson one.
I love it SO much. I even have the soundtrack on my ipod.

I also have a very unhealthy lust/crush on 1979 Kris. He was the most beautiful man!

I love Robin Hood, the Bodyguard, The goonies, the Lost boys, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy which are all classics but not highbrow.

I also love the Lake House and In Her Shoes which are neither classic or highbrow.

Carve her name with pride. Not the film so much as how much I cry.

Ditto The Dambusters, Always, Memphis Belle and many more. I am frequently a wet mess.

Oh yes, also the bit in Robin Hood where Little John's wife Fanny is up the burning tree; I could extinguish the flames with my tears.
