'Uncle Buck' - so funny. Or 'Big' with Tom Hanks. Love those 80's classics. Or stick on a 'Friends' box set, you can't go wrong with that for the feel-good factor. Ooh, just remembered, 'Shirley Valentine' is a good one when she buggers off to Greece and leaves her horrible husband behind because she's fed up of being a dog's body.

"Way way back". Really good "coming of age" movie with a decent cast. I liked it so much I watched it again as soon as it finished.

Might not fit your remit as it's got some sad stuff in it too but I always like fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe.

The Corpse Bride is also (for me) a feel good film, I do love anything by Tim Burtkon though.

Obvious typo on mine. 'Little Miss Sunshine'

3 more would be The Intouchables. So good!
Nebraska a brilliant end that wasn't saccharine or cheesy
and finally Harold and Maud.

They are my favourite 'go to ' films when I need cheering up!
