Most clichéd piece of crap I have ever seen. I saw it just for a laugh. Anyone else?

You'd have to pay me to watch that.

ButtMuncher · 11/02/2017 19:42

I'd rather shit in my own hands and clap. Best clip of FSOG was the 'Everything That is Wrong With...' Grin

FreeNiki · 11/02/2017 20:47

I enjoyed the clichés. It was so bad it was funny. I'll look for the everything wrong with

I've not long watched the first one.... it was a piss take hardly like the book!! I will watch the 2nd only because I have a compulsion with things like that lol

Rioja123 · 11/02/2017 21:29

Every review I have read has said it is shockingly bad

VanillaSugar · 11/02/2017 21:31

So why did you pay money at the cinema to watch it??

Destinysdaughter · 11/02/2017 21:33

Nope not gonna see it, the first one was bad enough!

Watch 9 and a half weeks for some sexy, twisted erotica...

FreeNiki · 11/02/2017 21:39

I didnt pay it really. I have a monthly limitless card. So I see lots of things as it doesnt cost any extra.

We went to watch 50 shades of grey and thought it was bad. But we agreed we would still go and watch 50 shades darker and 50 shades freed as well, just so we can say we've seen all 3 in the cinema. So we will be going soon. Not expecting much going by the first one.

namechangedtoday15 · 13/02/2017 13:52

It was actually less bad than the first one, I think (imo) the "story" comes across better in the 2nd film and certainly Jamie Dornan is slightly less stilted in this one. Bit cringeworthy in parts Blush

Destinysdaughter · 13/02/2017 14:30

Wish Aiden Turner had been Christian Grey, he's hot!

wineusuallyhelps · 13/02/2017 17:27

It will be utter tripe...I can't wait to watch it!

You see, I saw Jamie Dornan in The Fall and that was it - love at first sight 😉

wineusuallyhelps · 13/02/2017 17:30

Oh - and the whole Fifty Shades plot is silly. The books are very repetitive in their writing in my opinion, and the screen dramatisation is even more two-dimensional. Sorry if this offends any Twilight fans but I put the two series in the same bracket of crap books, even worse films.

FreeNiki · 13/02/2017 19:50

I watched Twilight in disbelief as it was complete utter crap IMO.

Purple999Red · 15/02/2017 04:18

I've watched the first one which was a real crap. Would not waste my time and money again to watch another crap. I've seen the reviews and all of them are negative

Fighterofthenightman · 15/02/2017 05:38

It's odd because Jamie Dornan is such a brilliant actor but in FSOG he was so wooden it looked like someone had thrown a chair on set.

NotYoda · 15/02/2017 06:03

Did the woman say "Holy Crap!" a lot? That made me laugh in the book. I couldn't read it- boring and repetitive

wineusuallyhelps · 15/02/2017 09:42

Notyoda no, she doesn't say "holy crap" in the film. That was totally silly in the book - agreed!

FreeNiki · 15/02/2017 11:04

It was Holy Fuck in the book.

OP posts:
wineusuallyhelps · 15/02/2017 11:12

Oh yes - and holy cow! That was it

NotYoda · 15/02/2017 12:24

She may have also said "holy moly"

NotYoda · 15/02/2017 12:27

And holy shit

My inner goddess is doing the merengue with some salsa moves.

Was my all time favourite from the book. It's comedy gold.

BobbieDog · 15/02/2017 15:45

I havent read the books but have seen both films and thought they were good but i dont have the book experience to compare them to

User543212345 · 15/02/2017 15:49

I saw it at the weekend as we also do the limitless membership thing at our cinema, though we went to one slightly further away so the staff we know wouldn't know we watched it Smile

DH thought I'd cringe all the way through it but honestly aside from one or two scenes that either made me laugh or feel vaguely repulsed it was so bloody boring that I nearly fell asleep. I expected it to be awful and was disappointed.
