I am pretty much open to anything - only thing I don't really like are fantasy type films.

Do you want to cry? Confused

If so, I have several recommendations...

Sing Street is set in 80s dublin, where a 15yr old boy sets up a band to impress a girl.Lots of 80s music nostalgia, its a sweet charming film

I am going to be watching with dh so got to appeal to him too. He wants to watch Mad Max Fury Road or Whiplash - neither of which appeal to me. I am fussy I think!!

I liked the Mad Max one, not a massive fan of action usually but was good, ya mans in it, so all is good.
Now, I've gone mad on this film, it'll make you cry and think, Into The Wild.
Interstellar is fantastic too.

I'm sure you've watched something by now but for next time, Whiplash is excellent- I did not expect to enjoy it but it was really good! We watched "passengers" last night - utter crap, one of the worst films we've seen in a long time.
