About to go on holiday with 16 yo DD. Internet access will be poor so we need to download some movies to take with us to keep her amused when it gets too hot outside.
Ideas please?
She is quite a young 16 yo, liked Game of Thrones, not really into too much gothic stuff, likes rom com loved Pretty Little Liars, and loves Disney.

Edward scissor hands, clerks (it's an 18 I think but I watched underage), pretty in pink, ghost, dazed and confused, grease 1 (and 2), dirty dancing.

They are old films but classics!

Legally Blonde, Clueless, Miss Congeniality, Ten Things I Hate About You.

What about a TV series? We are on holiday for two weeks and have lots of Arrow to keep us happy! Go retro and get Dawson's Creek! My sister (who loves her teen drama) loved Friday Night Lights and The OC. All my students LOVED Gossip Girl a few years ago.

How about Studio Ghibli films? Disney with more imagination - try Princess Mononoke or Howl's Moving Castle. Also try the suggested list of films on the Mighty Girl website, you can filter by age. www.amightygirl.com/movies-tv?age_range_filter=6

DD, 14, likes Clueless, Mean Girls, Pitch Perfect 1 and 2 and all the Hunger Games and Harry Potter movies. Also X-Men First Class, and Days of Future Past, and the Captain America movies. And the complete Sherlock, which she has watched too many times to count.

But when I actually asked her for suggestions she said Deadpool - because she's still sulking that I won't let her watch it Grin.

If she loves Disney, perhaps you can introduce StarWars? There's more content there than one holiday, that's for sure.

16yo can watch pretty much anything. Just let her choose.

Princess Mononoke might be a good one. A friend recommended it to me on Teepee, my fav new recommendations app, and it kept a fifteen year old happily entranced for a good couple of hours on a recent rain-soaked weekend away.
