John Travolta
Bradley Walsh
Bonnie Langford

Now don't laugh! Sometimes you see someone from when you were much younger and then realise that they are REALLY bloody good actors. What would be your nominations?

Jerome from Robson and Jerome. Quite surprising for somebody who made cover version records for grandmas dressed as a soldier (or whatever).

To counterbalance that view, I still think that Robson Green is a twat.

Can't think of a worse actor than Nic Cage. He is diabolical.

Just watched Blue Valentine and was pleasantly surprised by Ryan Gosling.

I think Chris Hemsworth is brilliant, excellent comedic timing..... however I may be biased because I luffs him deeply

I always find Nicolas cage's constant broody sad face mesmerising. He is an excellent actor.

I think forest whitiker. He looks like someone who would be comedian but seems to play very serious parts. He reminds me of Gordon brown. Looks wise.

Brad Pitt, I think for so long he was a sex symbol so you didn't realise how good an actor he is. I'd like to see him get some good character roles now he's older.

Jennifer Aniston, I know she gets a lot of hate from Friends but I have seen her in a couple of serious films and obviously the comedy stuff but i actually think she is really good. Jonah Hill is very good too I think.

I too think Jennifer Aniston is a fine actor but has made some poor choices/has a shit agent/maybe is too typecast. I'd really like to see her step away from the duff rom-coms and stretch herself a bit.

World War Z is Brad Pitts best film IMO.

Kevin Bacon. We just watched him in The Following and it reminded me of how good an actor he really was. He's been doing adverts for so long that I'd sort of forgotten!

That little kid in MoonBoy - he is brilliant. You don't expect a little kid to be so good.

Nicholas Cage is rubbish In everything. He only ever plays one character and he's not even good at that.

I can't stand Jim Carey but I agree he was good in Eternal Sunshine

But Nicholas Cage is good in everything cos he's soo bloody awful. I never expect anything different than over acting and wondering how ridiculous his hair will be. Love him tho. Apart from KickAss 2 that whole film was unforgivable.

Grace Kelly.

You'd think she was just a wooden pretty face like Hepburn but she is a revelation.

Such a shame her career was cut short by that twat she married.

I meant Audrey, not the wonderful Katharine, of course.

I know someone who absolutely think Jim Carey is the best actor to walk the planet. He finds him very funny. Not a surprise because he still watches cartoons at the age of thirty.

I can no longer watch any film which has Nicholas Cage in it. He's acting is horrifyingly bad and makes we cringe with embarrassment on his behalf.

Brad Pitt??? Have you seen Troy? Confused
His acting was more wooden than the wooden horse...Grin

Robin Williams-not I hasten to add in Mrs Doubtfire. But dialled right down in Birdcage he was excellent.

And Jo Pesci. First saw him in Goodfellas and was deeply chilled.

I avoided his comedies for years afterwards as I couldn't get past his psychopathic murderer performance

Much less famous, but I think Will Mellor is a great actor (and I'm always so pleased to see him in things, my DH and I will then discuss at length 'how well he has done...')
