Would have said About Time but it seems to have been taken off.

X & Y but more heartwarming

The Warrior

The Choir

Still Alice

Winter's bone

Real Steel

And of course Eat, Pray Love.

Not really the type you asked for OP but am sure other Netflixers will be looking on here.

Great thread as I never know which to watch either.

I enjoyed Still Alice the other day.

Is 'Wolf of Wall Street' still on? That's great.

Begin again with Keira knightly is good if that's still on

Otherwise watch 'How to get away with murder' (series) that's fun!

Don't watch the ridiculous six. I love Adam sander but this one is bloody awful. Think jack and Jill level. I laughed once, at a minor character.

FreakinScaryCaaw Mon 04-Apr-16 15:28:50

I'm not on Adam Sandler. I googled Ridiculous Six and doesn't get very good reviews.

Winter's bone is a good early film of Jennifer Lawrence.

I'm going to watch The Grand Budapest hotel this afternoon as off work. DS1 says it's great and it's on Netflix. But we have dvd anyway.

FreakinScaryCaaw Mon 04-Apr-16 15:30:00

Not keen on Adam Sandler I mean.

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

Queen of Versailles was the latest thing I watched. About a ridiculously, filthy rich family building the biggest house in America. Half-way through the doc the 2008 financial collapse happens and they lose loads.

Sorry meant to say it's a documentary.

FreakinScaryCaaw Mon 04-Apr-16 16:19:51

Saga do you feel sorry for them when you watch it?

FreakinScaryCaaw Mon 04-Apr-16 21:42:34

I watched McFarland today, loved it. Wasn't keen on The Grand Budapest.

Freakin...not really. But I'm a socialist. grin

Die Hard and Predator were added the other day - you can't beat a bit of John McTiernan for classic action.

Daredevil (the TV series) is great too, especially the acting (Vincent D'Onofrio from Full Metal Jacket's in it)

YY to What We Do In The Shadows

Baconyum Wed 13-Apr-16 22:33:14

Might be good for posters to clarify which region?

I'm UK & Ireland

Also an action/thriller fan

Psychological thrillers - vertigo and rear window have just been added (love Hitchcock)
Red eye is excellent have watched a few times now
Olympus has fallen
Panic room
White house down supposed to be good but I've not seen it yet
Beverly hills cop 1-3 for nostalgia
November man not too bad if it's brain off stuff you want
Avengers assemble (know it's not for everyone but I like my comic hero stuff)
Limitless is excellent
Mission impossible 1 2 & 4
Big trouble in little China - more nostalgia
'Captain America
The double is good and an excuse to ogle Richard gere wink
The edge
Sleeping with the enemy
Days of thunder
Men of honor is fantastic
The Manchurian candidate
No way out
The firm
The generals daughter (bit could be triggering for some)
Real steel is actually quite good
The numbers station
Red corner
Chain reaction
Primal fear
Abduction (Taylor lautner - dd made me watch it but actually not bad)

Baconyum Wed 13-Apr-16 22:35:43

Guitarguy Vincent D'onofrio is one of my favourite actors massively underrated and hugely versatile, people don't believe he's the same guy when I tell em he's the guy in full metal jacket, 'thor' in adventures in babysitting and the alien in MIB.

What We Do in the Shadows is brilliant, funniest thing I've seen for ages!!

The documentary Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau is really worth a watch.
