Star Wars theories anyone? - potential spoilers.

Right I've been rewatching and reading online and thinking about it and here's my theories:

Vader/anakin will return. Jinn was able to communicate after his death; yoda and obiwan knew about his studies and the immortality and at the end when vader is dead you see the two of them and anakin. Anakin was by far the most powerful user of the force; I reckon Luke's been at the original Jedi temple studying the ancient ways. Rey has got to be his daughter; together they will bring back granddaddy anakin and he will stop kylo ren either by redeeming or destroying him.

But will it be vader or anakin who returns???

(I reckon anakin, he was the chosen one and I reckon he can still fulfil his destiny)

Anyone agree/any other theories?

rey is so obviously lukes daughter, she trash talked the millenium falcon, thats a skywalker trait.

Don't think anakin will come back, maybe a bit far fetched, there may be a ghosty vision like at the end of return of the jedi.

I wonder if they've picked an actress that looks so like Natalie Portman to play Rey for a reason.

That was a rotten Princess Leia's son whose name I can't remember. Too skinny and scrawney. Did he grow over the film? I was certain it was a woman for ages, and he did seem shorter at the beginning.

I reckon the whole series is leading up to the return and ultimate redemption of vader. The first (in order) film has jinn talking about the secret of immortality and studying the ancient ways.

Rey will be a Skywalker, but perhaps a descendant of Anakin not Luke.

Could Vader be that huge hologram character? We saw his trashed/ashy mask, so if alive he'll look different.

Or if he has somehow regenerated as Anakin, then Han Solo could still be alive.

Yes dh reckoned he was too short too. He did look a bit like Hayden Christiansen mind you (just watched 3 again, there's a definite resemblance)

Vader died and was cremated at the end of 6 this the mask being burnt so I'm pretty sure he's not the big guy. He had also turned back from the dark side.

Han won't be alive, he didn't have that connection with the force. (Plus I don't think Harrison ford could cope with much more of the action scenes in his 70s😁)

i think Finn must be able to use the force, how else could he have so easily taken to using the light saber with such ease and fluidity?

ive seen a theory that says kylo ren is actually fighting against the dark side from the inside but i'm not sure i buy that.

it's also been suggested the rey is a descendent of kenobi not luke but again, i don't know if i believe it

in the extended universe before it all got trashed and made non canon, luke married and had children with a female jedi equally as powerful as him so it's a possibility that rey is their child and is why she could take to using the force with such ease and with no training at all.

and and and anyone catch the reworked palpatine music whenever snoake was on screen? food for thought eh as no one ever saw palpatine die on screen and plagious is meant to have taught him how to cheat death

Yes I did wonder if it was palpatine.

I don't think that's what kylo ren is up to either.

I did also say to dh she could be vaders, there's a big gap between the twins being born and the start of the next (first release) trilogy where we don't know what he was up to - but he was for none of that.

I don't think that Darth Vader is coming back, although the dark side will return through Kylo Ren. My ds has a theory that Luke turns to the dark side.

Rey is much more powerful than Luke was when he was untrained. It took him ages running around a swamp with Yoda in a backpack before he could use the force to move objects, whereas Rey could do it by instinct.

I still think that Rey is Luke's daughter. Perhaps she had some training as a very young child.

the EU before made non canon told you how they blaanced the force, it was to use both, to be both, to use the dark side but relinquish it when it wasn't needed, to feel the passion but not be over run by it, to feel the eace of the jedi but never to forget to live. right family, as in the skywalkers, but wrong generation as it wasn't luke or anakin who balanced the force but their childrens children i believe, certainly their descendents not them at any rate

I wasn't thinking if connection with the force for Han's survival, but rather someone in one of those little craft scooping him up as he fell (Anakin having performed a resume if that sort before)

Of course, the light sabre would have had to have missed all vital organs...

Han is toast. Next episode will be about Luke, and the third about Leia. I think.

I reckon Kylo Ren is definitely a goodie - and that Han and Leia are in on it. When he killed Han it's almost like he was pleading with him to forgive him but Han seemed resigned.

Maybe that's because I think Adam Driver is FIT though.

DH and I reckon Han will be back. In visions or dreams. Mainly because they're all signed on for the next two movies apparently.

We decided Rey was a Jedi foundling who had been training with Luke. Still undecided on whether she is Luke's but the casting is very Natalie Portman like.

DH reckons snope is actually Yoda sized. My cousin thinks he's jar jar binks

I reckon Han is definitely gone.

Interesting theories about kylo/Ben but I don't think he's a goodie - didn't he lead the massacre of the Jedi children?

Yes I agree about probable dreams and flashbacks of Han. We need to find out what happened between Han and Kylo.
I wanted to see more of Han and Chewie wisecracking in the Millennium Falcon though.
