I sat through three hours of that nonsense and I have only myself to blame.

Benjamin went from looking like a wizened little cauliflower to looking like, well, Brad Pitt, but he was consistently dull throughout. What was the point of it? Was it supposed to be a touching love story?

I feel untouched.

The book is only 28 (kindle) pages. How the hell did they make it into 3 hours of film?!

Hmm, the fact they wrung three hours worth of film out of 28 pages gives me a clue now as to why it was so crap.

We lasted 10 minutes.
We had a rare child free night so snuggled down with champagne and treats under the duvet to watch it. Then gave up and put Life of Brian on instead!

I thought it may be 'guy' film as OH and his mates really like it. They normally like stuff mainstream action films.

I enjoyed it, but I watched it on a long, long flight, so my standards might have been a bit low.

It would have been fine, if it was two hours shorter! I endured it at the cinema, I was soo bored by the end, it just went on and on and on and on.....
