"'I'm wax, she's polyurethane, but somehow it works!"

Or something else?

Nerf Sat 10-Jan-15 21:31:02

Although I did feel her impression of him ran dangerously close to playground nastiness about people with learning difficulties, just a bit odd.

Nerf Sat 10-Jan-15 21:31:43

Something else. Although I was silently crying blush as RW gave his little speech about being ready.

CalamitouslyWrong Sat 10-Jan-15 21:31:51

Guard and La? Weird.

AwfulBeryl Sat 10-Jan-15 21:40:34

I cried when rw did his final scene sad mind you as we walked out we over heard lots of other people saying they were too.
I don't know then, who ?

Nerf Sat 10-Jan-15 21:54:15

Calamitously has it! Just way too much towards weird.

AwfulBeryl Sat 10-Jan-15 22:15:10

What was the beasiality thing ?

spookyskeleton Sat 10-Jan-15 22:19:49

Are you thinking about when Larry and Dexter kiss??

CalamitouslyWrong Sat 10-Jan-15 22:25:13

Tbh, I haven't seen it. But the guardian review was sulk of talk of beasiality so I guessed that must be what the thread was about.

AwfulBeryl Sat 10-Jan-15 22:30:52

I can't remember anything about that ? Unless it was when I popped to the loo.

AwfulBeryl Sat 10-Jan-15 22:31:28

Nooooooooo, not the Larry and Dexter kiss. I though that was lovely.

spookyskeleton Sat 10-Jan-15 22:35:37

nerf are you going to come back and tell us which bit as, other than the Larry and Dexter moment, I cannot think of anything else hmm

AuntieStella Sat 10-Jan-15 22:37:55

It was a bit 'WTF' as they closed in (audible 'eurgh' in the cinema), but it was OK in the end. Definitely too brief for tongues. DD disappointed no slapping (as in 1st film). She thought it should have been 1 slap, 1 kiss; not 2 kisses.

AwfulBeryl Sat 10-Jan-15 22:38:26

Did people early think it was creepy, I really found it touching and I cried. I was crying anyway, but it made me cry some more.
I didn't think it was strange at all, but then I do kiss my cat goodbye when I go to work.

badRoly Sat 10-Jan-15 22:45:25

I cried at it blush, RW set me off...

I didn't think there was anything in the kisses. They were saying goodbye, nothing sexual.

Nerf Sat 10-Jan-15 22:47:37

Lots of small children going eurgh and really really weird how attached he was to that monkey - not even a kiss on the cheek for the others or a handshake. Creepy!

AwfulBeryl Sat 10-Jan-15 22:49:39

Oh, well no small children were going eurgh when we went to see it. If anything there might have been a few ahhhhhs grin

Nerf Sat 10-Jan-15 23:08:28

Oh that's nice. To be fair three of the children were mine. Maybe it's the lips thing? Like if you kiss your kids on the lips you wouldn't think 'weird' and if you don't you might?

TendonQueen Sat 10-Jan-15 23:13:25

Went to see it with 3 kids and none of them did more than laugh at it in the moment. I think you're worrying excessively.
