can't cope

I don't know what to write, really. Have name-changed - don't really know why 'cos I haven't posted for ages under my usual name. I'm just so scared and intimidated by everything at the moment. Even when I do attempt to talk to people (children's head-teacher, for example) it all goes horribly wrong. The man was so vile to me and then the next day I was horibly late to pick them up from school and I couldn't face any of these teachers I just wanted to get the children and run, but my eldest had all his books out and took ages to be ready then the head teacher spotted me and started talking. I was very apologetic and explained the delay (I had phoned school on the way) and told the children to hurry up but they were so slow. I kept talking to them and trying to get them to hurry up. Finally they came to me and then this facetious man (the head)just said in a very loud voice NO PROBLEM MRS.... ANY TIME WE CAN LOOK AFTER THEM FOR YOU, YOU'RE WELCOME OF COURSE! I was absolutely flabbergasted and virtually ran out of there just hoping the children were coming but I still had to wait for them in the playground.

I just can't cope with anything right now..

Hi
he is a prick, see him for what he is and have more confidence in yourself. you CAN cope, you ARE coping. dont be intimidated, you have every right to be in this world as much as any other person. i know the feeling where you just want to hide. dont be so apologetic, next time ignore him and think to yourself, you are being paid enough to stay behind anyway!

most head teachers like to talk down to us mums, dont take it to heart .being a mum is the hardest job in the world.no coffee breaks or annual leaves for us.
as for feeling scared all the time you must be stressed or suffering from not enough hours in the day syndrome.
have you tried bachs rescue remedy you can get it in boots chemist ..works a treat .good luck and i bet your a better mum than he is head master -people skills and empathy he does not have...
