Would appreciate any opinions on this, i just dont know what is wrong with me.

It started about 3 weeks ago where i started feeling sick all the time, hot, was very tired & getting headaches constantly, tried going to work a couple of times (work p/time) but would feel worse & ended up going home.

Went to the Dr & he said it was a flare up of my IBS, at the begining of all this i did have diarrhoea but that stopped quickly. I was signed off for a couple of weeks, and was starting to feel better, still tired but no longer feeling sick, until this morning. Was chatting to DH about going back on Mon & now i feel sick again, anxious, hot & sweaty. Also, sometimes i feel like im unable to catch my breath, like there is a weight on my chest
I just dont understand why im feeling like this, i dont hate my job, so why?
Anyone have any ideas?

the symptoms you are describing can be because of anxiety. Do you think it could be a panic attack? I suffer with panic attacks and can have one and not understand why it happened as i felt quite calm! I also have IBS which is anxiety/stress linked. Sometimes things just catch up with you when you don't expect it, you can be going through a stressful, anxious few days with no symptoms then when it has all quietened down your body decides to release all it's pent up stress!
Can you think back to anything that happened when you went to work which may have put a negative thought in your head? It could be nothing to do with work itself but your mind has made an association with it?
I hope i am making some sort of sense!

They sound very much like my anxiety symptoms, and I also have IBS on and off.

I wish I could tell you something useful, but I ahve yet to find any helpful ways of dealing with it, I have suffered for years and it can be a horrible thing, I am currently waiting for therapy.

I was wondering about therapy, i also suffer with low confidence which seems to have got worse since having ds & is now getting to the point along with the anxiety that im finding it hard to go anywhere much with just the two of us or anywhere new, i really feel that as ds is now 15 mths & walking that he needs to be socialising (sp?) more..... actually im wondering now ive typed that, maybe that is the reason for the anxiety because im trying to force myself to do more...hmmmmm

Sounds like you may have found the reasons behind how you feel, sometimes just thinking things through and writing it down makes things clearer. Counselling sounds an option for you as it gives you the chance to talk about anything and everything to someone who is paid to listen and has no hidden agenda or prejudices. Your GP should be able to help you and advise on your next step. It is very easy to neglect ourself as to busy putting everybody else first. Us mums need to look after ourselves! Hope you feel better and reassured.
