History of eating disorder - stupid 'fat' voices in my head again!!!!

I've had problems with eating since i was 12. Worst was when i was about 19 and would only drink black coffee, water and eat once a day - salad with fat free dressing and wafer thin ham. Never had professional help - and never discussed 'eating disorder' openly, even with my mum who would beg me to eat and did a great job of gently pushing me to take more calroies each day until i was on releatively normal diet. Lost about a stone last year through stress reducing my appetite and have just got up to what i consider to be my normal weight. Here comes the voice in my head that whispers 'you don't really need to eat that'- thats how it starts and i eat less and get more and more contriolling around food.
Does anyone ever get cured from this? Does every woman experience this?

Question what is going on in your life that you feel you can't control. i get these when my life is spiralling out of control.

Everyone has different reasons for controlling their eating. often treating the cause helps (and i mean helps not cures) the eating issue.

Am sorry i can't be more helpful and am sure wiser mnetters will come to your rescue but didn't want you to go comletely unanswered and adviceless.
