blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:26:46

How are you doing?!

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:27:40

{blush] - what a way to be remembered having a smelly bum!!

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:29:15

apparantly so!

I'm okay thanks. Got another session on Tuesday morning. Been thinking about it all this morning actually. Wondering if it's really going to help. I have been trying to work out what could be causing me to feel like I have been. Is it a hormonal imbalance type thing or a build up of trying to cope with problems in everyday life??????
The ADs have really kicked in now and have done for a few weeks now so it's a bit difficult to explain to people what I was feeling like as I feel so different now. IYKWIM.

all started with my innocent post of what to about having serious tummy pains [wmile]

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:31:16

How are you doing these days BT? You keep asking about me and I don't ask you?

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:33:21

Do you find the counselling helpful at all?
They really dig into your past don't they?
Glad 2 hear the AD's are kicking in after you thinking they were not working at first.

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:34:27

Only had the one session and yes she did make me delve into my past a bit. Interesting though.

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:34:47

Not sure about me ATM.
I have the HV coming round in a few weeks.
I have a feeling I will probably end up back on the tablets again.

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:34:51

She made me view things in a way I have never thought of before. So in a way maybe it is helping.

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:35:21

Sorry to hear that. Just do what you have to do. I'm willing to try everything to get myself right. xx

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:36:13

I found that too.
It kind of helped me realise why I may be the way I am IYKWIM?

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:38:28

It is such a fine line between stress & depression isn't it?
I am not sure which one I am ATM, but I am struggling with being a mother ATM & the stresses attatched etc.

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:40:20

I do know what you mean. Never mind BT - we will get there!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:42:10

For the first time since I started ADs actually - and as they are working so well for me - I'm starting to worry a little bit about the time when I have to come off them. I knew before I started them there would come a time when I would have to think about it but wanted to go on them as I felt so rubbish.
Guess I'm worried about going back to how I was.

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:42:19

Yes we will!
Have you found the tablets are making you feel a lot better about things?

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:43:54

Cross posts!
Did they increase your dosage?
I can't remember if you said they did or not.
I ended up on 50mg last time!

blueteddy Sat 07-May-05 09:47:56

Are you able to have a drink or 2 without any probs?
I know this was one thing that you were concerned about when you started on the tablets.
I worried about that one too, but I managed!!!

SPARKLER1 Sat 07-May-05 09:53:23

Increased dose from Citalopram 20mg to 40mg. 20mg didn't seem to do much but 40mg is fine.

Yes I have a couple of drinks now and then and don't worry about it like I did. TBH I haven't been having a lot recently anyway after my hen weekend away - had so much then I've gone off it a bit now.
