I don't deserve her

I've just had a bit of a tantrum and thrown a couple of things and shouted at dd - all because I'm having a crap day and hate dp today.

She didn't cry, or run away, she just went and got ready to go out to the shop.

She made me laugh trying to put her boots on and then said "Are you happy now Mummy?"

I said sorry to her and she just said "That's ok Mummy" and gave me a hug.

She's only 3. She's a superstar. I'm horrid!

My DD is 2.8 and I had a cpl of horrible days last week where I screamed and ranted for no real justifiable reason, other than she deliberately defied me - but she's 2 FFS . I felt so shitty, she started crying and ran into the living room . I went in, asked her for a cuddle and apologised and she said 'Don't be sad Mummy, s'ok, s'ok, s'ok' and gave me a hug.

I felt exactly how you are feeling now. It's horrible, but you do deserve her, I'll bet your a great Mummy 99.9% of the time.

of course you deserve her. It's because you are such a good mummy 99% of the time that she reacted so well to your tantrum. Give yourself praise Swiperfox, not a hard time.
