I hope she's getting the help support she needs. Hang in there Titania, it can get better.

have just managed to get hold of her on the mobile. her husband is at home with her today (albeit hungover!), so she didn't want me to go over today.

she's made it out to take DS1 to school, and plans to take one of the rabbits to the vets this afternoon. she has been very panicky this morning; she did see the thread this morning and was very upset by the unpleasant comments on it

i'll call her again later today.

i'm still plugging away at her re:doctors' appointments/referring herself to CMHT

if some one thinks'pull yourself together' could they just 'think' that and not post it?, regardless of 'how' low someones feelings, the cruel to be kind approach very rarely works and may make the person concerned feel like they cant come here incase they get put down.

try and make here realise those comments were by someone who misunderstood the situation, has her own problems by the sound of it, and has no personal connection with Titania and should be ignored.

Glad someone has spoken to her now. I did text but got no reply.

Agree that if anyone isn't interested in the thread or has opinions which may upset the person further, then they just shouldn't post.

My knuckles hurt cos I punched the screen last night - really wanted it to be a certain poster's face.

Please pass on hugs to Titania and reassure her that the majority of the MN community are here for her and that the opinions of pillocks just don't count.

I've read Titanias previous posts and have always felt very bad for her, but never had anything constructive to say so haven't posted. The last couple of days have made me think that maybe that isn't really important? Titania, I just want to say {{hugs}} to you too, and I hope that you can find the help and support that works for you.

sorry, just to clarify that it's not important that I haven't got any advice to offer iyswim.

I didn't get chance to come on last night so I don't know what happened.
I have been on MN since October last year and I do know that Titania is going through a really tuff time at the moment and has been for a while. I really do wish her the very best and I'm sure she can get through it with the right support and her loving family.
I cannot believe someone would post something as cold as that.

{{{{Hugs Titania}}}}

Glad someone's talked to her and that she's managing to do some "normal" things involving getting out.

Titania - so very pleased that you are feeling a little better this morning.

I was online last night when you seemed to find yourself in a very dark place, and knowing how hard you have been finding things recently, I felt seriously worried for you.

I think a lot of people on MN care deeply about posters they come to know - but if we really care we sometimes have to acknowldge that we can't actually be much real help. The people who can actually help you are the mental health professionals - and if you want to move to a better feeling, why not seek their help? The ADs and your short-term counsellor are not enough support for you, are they?

I think Cod has posted the number you can ring. That is a step you can take by yourself to get real help. the all your many friends on MN can help you and support you, listen to you, as the professionals give you serious help.

Please consider it, Titania.

We can listen, we can advise, we can chat and offere a distraction - but we can't offer the help that will make the difference.

Please take care of yourself - and I hope today is better all day.

Titania,
Like many others I've been concerned for you. Blu sums it up, for me - please, please, please take up these suggestions. There have been just too many terrible things in your life; there are people out there with the skills to help you unpick them, and find greater happiness, but I do seriously think that you need to use their skills as well as drawing on all the support from here.
