Hi. How old are your children? Are their any mother and toddler groups you could go to?

I know just how you feel, cazabela. My dh works away during the week, then is off playing golf, or watching footie on the t.v. at the weekend. We do have a lovely time when we are all together, but this isn't as often as I'd like. I don't have any friends in RL, moved to a new area 2 years ago, and don't speak to anyone, even now. Most days it's not too bad, but others I could scream with frustration!!! What I would give to have someone to invite round for coffee!!!

Anyway, chin up girl - worse things happen at sea!!!

Might be an idea to put a post up asking if anyone on the mumsnet site is in your area. Are you able to get out and about? Maybe you could get in touch with other mumsnetters in your area and perhaps arrange a get together. Sometimes it is easier to make friends on the net when you can be a bit more relaxed.

Clicks are horrible and make you feel even more like an outsider. It amazes me sometimes that people are so insensitive not to notice that someone needs a hand to be included. I really wish you well. Keep us posted how you get on.

Glad you are feeling a bit better cazabela. I know how hard it is to join mother and toddler groups, I found it really hard to start with.
