Just wondering.

I know everybody is different but just curious to know what other people's experience is.

didn't want your post to go unanswered - I have been on them several times but for different reasons. Used them for PND twice, first time i was on the same dose throughout and took them for about 10 mo, second time has been much more severe and i've been on them two years and had the dose changed a couple of times. Am just in the process of getting off them as i think i can stand on my feet by myself now

Ive taken them for a few raesons the 1st tie was about 3 1/2 years but that was also trying to find one hat suited me- kept getting side effects.
Then was on them for PND for about 9 months.

Thank you for responding. I've been on various ones for about 18 months and feel like I'll be on them forever.

fluoxetine 18 months just come off as life circumstances that were getting me down have changed. PMS is awful though without them

Have been on and off ADs since March 2005 (was off them between April and September 2007 but in retrospect that was a mistake).

I am taking 40mg citalopram at the moment and will probably start cutting down when I next go to the doctor, in a couple of months time. I think it will be right to start cutting down then.
