Misophonia - noise issues!

Hi, I am hoping someone might have some ideas for how I try to conquer this issue because it seems to be getting worse. I have had misophonia since I was a teenager, mostly centred around eating and drinking noise. It’s affected me and my family, for example I hate family mealtimes and tend to eat seperately. Over the last few years I’ve got more and more sensitive to noise in general and we’ve just moved to a house with a garden (were in a flat). The trouble is that our next door neighbours are garden lovers and if it’s fine weather they literally take up residence out there from early morning to evening. They’re not nuisance neighbours - it’s mostly talking and kids playing, nothing dreadful. Dog barking occasionally. But some of the kids are real screamers. We’re in a terraced house so the gardens are close together. The nub of my problem is that with noise from other gardens I feel like I have no space to relax in out there. I even hate being out there to hang washing out because the noise feels so intrusive. I can’t sit and relax, which surely most people want to do in their gardens. I’m sorry for this ramble! But has anyone else had similar, or dealt with misophonia successfully? I’m fed up with it affecting my life and making me feel so stressed. TIA.
