We are here for you. Lots of people are here for you.

Are you there?

MarylandMayhem Sun 24-May-20 01:58:52

You know people will ask what's wrong etc so why not just say it in your op?! Maybe yabu, maybe YANBU. How would we know if you're not going to even bother saying wtf your situation is?!

Samtsirch Sun 24-May-20 02:00:58

I wouldn’t give up just yet, there is always hope.

slf3101 Sun 24-May-20 02:09:47

I've literally never messaged on this before and have looked at stuff for help for around 3 years. Are you OK?? Please ask for help. People are here to help and I've always seen that.

c0ffeeandcake Sun 24-May-20 02:11:36

Yabu... there is nothing that can't be fixed. I promise

Samtsirch Sun 24-May-20 02:14:15

Op please don't give up. Are you ok? We're here for you ❤

MichaelMumsnet (MNHQ) Sun 24-May-20 07:32:02

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.
We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on

Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek real lifeL help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

We are going to move this thread to the Mental Health section shortly.

Ghostlyglow Sun 24-May-20 08:23:57

Thanks for responding, guess I'll just keep pretending I'm fine

LadyGAgain Sun 24-May-20 08:34:40

You don't have to pretend. It's ok to not be fine. However there is help available to bring you through your journey to positive mental health. Would you like to talk about what is bringing you down?

Samtsirch Sun 24-May-20 09:24:22

Nobody has asked you to pretend you are fine, that's the worst thing you can do, people have asked you to please not give up.

Ghostlyglow Sun 24-May-20 09:52:38

I want this thread deleted please

Hmmmm88 Sun 24-May-20 10:50:10

OP you are anonymous on here if you want to briefly say what is going on without to much detail one of us might be able to give you some good advice. Your not alone

c0ffeeandcake Sun 24-May-20 11:31:09

OP we are all here for you with open ears. Let us help x

Ghostlyglow Sun 24-May-20 11:35:26

I really wish I hadn't posted. I just need to get on with things and pull myself together. I'm genuinely touched and grateful for the responses on here though. Thank you so much all of you. If only people in real life were so caring and compassionate.
