Bipolar disorder in children?

Please help, my Son has been showing very disturbing worries in the past year.

He worries we are going to forget him, then we dont love him, then he wants to kill himself then he is happy then is exposive.

This is very difficult to understand and I am trying to find out if there is something seriously wrong. It scares me but the more I read about it the more I think it might be bipolar disorder.

I know you should not self diagnose, but he is not living a normal childs life, worries about everything, is rude and withdrawn.
Please please can something advise me what I can do, where I can go and how to help my Son

Not really sure if this will help or not but couldn't read without posting.

Does he interact with children of his own age and or empathise with people? If not it could be that he has an autistic spectrum disorder rather than bipolar.

How old is your son? Have you raied your concerns with your GP or the school? You can ask the GP for a referal to a psych for him.

How old is he?

You erally need to talk to your GP about this. Depression in children in general is underdiagnosed,

I would consult your gp..bipolar disorder is highly unlikely to manifest in a child but depression does and other problems

express yiur concerns and take it from there

Went to GP today she thinks it is because of things that have happened to him over the years.

Sending him to see Child Guidance. I am not going to be fobbed off
