Mental health

My girl is so ill

My dd1 has battled with mental health all her life... she's 26.
She developed anorexia at school, somehow came through it, and has been on various meds for years for anxiety. She also has a chronic health condition (Ehlers danlos Syndrome) for which she has heart meds, gastro meds, as well as her anti anxiety meds.

The EDS has worsened and basically shut down her digestive system... she vomits every time she tries to eat. Put on build up type drinks to try and boost her very low weight, but today she was admitted to hospital...she is severely underweight . The cause is physical but the anorexic mind set is now rearing its ugly head.

She is so unwell, so frail. Worse she is a patient in the hospital where she is also a doctor and she is humiliated at the thought of colleagues seeing her ill.

I don't know how to help her :(

She can request that people who know her cannot care for her.

I'm going to her first thing tomorrow...(she lives 4 hours drive away) Sod work....
She is such a good doctor, kind and persistent and has genuinely saved lives since she qualified a few years ago. But she takes on too much for someone with EDS and can't seem to look after herself :/
