Is this Anxiety?

I have spent the last few years feeling dizzy and wobbly on my feet usually about once a week for a few mins and was dealing with it very well.
I then came down with severe vertigo because of inner year infection that went on for about 8 weeks and even though the vertigo has stopped I struggle when outside. I struggle with my balance and sight and occasionally get a electric shock feeling in my head which lasts a second or two.
I have never had anxiety before but because it's mainly happening when out of the house I wonder if I have anxiety and it's making me imagine this is happening as I am usually fine when at home.

I'm not sure what it could be - I would definitely go to the GP and ask their advice though

I have exactly the same symptoms frequently and have been told it’s anxiety related ( I definitely suffer with that!)

I’d suggest getting it checked out just to make sure though!

Thanks for replies. Luckily I have a doctors appointment on Monday.
I really not sure what it is but Anxiety would make sense after that horrible vertigo I suffered with.
I always assumed Anxiety was a nervous feeling that you might have before a exam but this feeling I have is very extreme and scary.

Anxiety can feel very physical in its symptoms. It could well be what you're experiencing.
Could you discuss it with you GP and ask them to help you access some Cognitive behavioural therapy?
You sounds very self-aware so it could really help you.
