SSRIs, SNRIs and concentration

Has anyone swapped from an SSRI to an SNRI and found their concentration improved? Mine has been terrible the past few months (it was awful before, but now it's catastrophic) since I started 10mg Citalopram.

I've heard SNRIs boost dopamine and that could help with concentration, but they're also harder to come off so I don't want to risk asking for (and getting it) if it does nothing.

Thanks!

I recently swapped citalopram for venlafaxine and the difference has been amazing in all aspects

Thank you, that sounds promising. I can definitely tell that the Cit has improved a lot of things and made a big difference to my anxiety and lack of patience, but the lack of concentration will ultimately end up destroying my career if things carry on.
