I’ve tried.
So long.
But it’s not enough.
Whatever I do.
How do you keep going?

Are you alright? Do you need to talk?

My “D”H is asleep.
Oblivious.
As always.
DC2 tries so hard.
So kind
But it’s not fair for her to support the rest of us.
I have always been the one who copes. And organises. And makes decisions. And earns.
And I am tired.
More than tired.

Yes life can seem relentless sometimes. Do you have any other support? What are you battling with?

Report
TooLateNotAnymore · 24/10/2017 22:59

A hot drink sounds like a very good idea. My Dc2 thinks instant hot chocolate is the end to all worries.

Yes do hold on. Think of how much you love them which is why you have to hold on. They need you. What help do you need?

Life can just be a viscous circle of shite.

No matter what we do, who we do it for there are those in life me included that wonder when some fucker is gonna do something for us.

Probably never so we keep on because we are strong and coffee is lovely

I was listening to a radio programme the other day talking about stress, which they defined as being when your emotional resources are outstripped by the demands placed upon them - then even a minor thing is too much. Is that what you mean by saying you can’t cope, or is it a different type of feeling?
