Im always so HOT! Is the sertraline to blame? Anyone else found it warms them up?

I have been on sertraline for ages, but upped the dosage to 150mg about a year ago. Around the same time I started HRT. Having never had problems with hot flushes I was surprised when I started to feel uncomfortably hot a lot, and put it down to adjusting to the HRT. However have recently read that sertraline can make you hot. But most sufferers seem to be hot at night, which I can be, but for me its worse mornings and then eases last afternoon. I just wondered if anyone else on it has had similar?

Hi. Yes, I was horribly hot during the day. And even minor exertion would have me soaked in sweat. I thought it was age or being unfit but it stopped as soon as i stopped taking it.

Yes me! I only started it a couple of weeks ago and I'm usually freezing all the time. Since starting it I'm driving my family potty by flinging open the windows and doors continuously.

Oh nooo! The sertraline has been otherwise fab, but this hotness is really shite!

Have been googling lots today and found out that roughly 20% of people on sertraline (or similar ad's) suffer from over heatedness Sad
