I've been suffering with stress and anxiety, currently off work sick. It occurred to me last night that I have been blocking all thoughts in my head for the last few years. I constantly read, iPad etc to stop thinking about stuff.
It all started after some family/health issues which were difficult to deal with, I just got my head down and got on with day to day stuff. Now I realise that I have never dealt with any of my worries, I feel like a tight coiled spring.
How can I break this habit and learn better coping methods? Do I need counselling? Can I fix this myself and where do I start?
I guess I've started by realising the problem, but I don't know what to do next. Has anyone any idea?
