I've had a very difficult unhappy life but just muddled along and finally in my 50's have started taking antidepressants mostly for anxiety.
I simply cannot understand why I didn't take these sooner, why I left it all these years.
I could have had a normal life and normal relationships had I sought help earlier. I can see now that all my problems in life and reactions to things stem from chronic anxiety and low self esteen from childhood trauma.
Please, please, please if you feel like me get help now don't try and struggle through life.
I can hardly believe there was a solution all along.

Just a small note as it's late, but you've been heard, and you've got another lease of life.
Childhood trauma affects so many way into adulthood. AD's can do a lot, and there are other theaputic ways to help out too. It's helpful to know that you are not in your own either. We are still learning about the devasting affects of trauma in childhood and the lasting legacy.
Love your courage and thoughts.
Thank you.
