Been diagnosed with binge eating disorder. I've also got anxiety and I've just had the biggest anxiety attack I've ever had. My husband said it was like someone else had taken over my body. I don't remember it. I feel so lost. So much going through on my head so fast I can't stop it all. It just keeps going and I need it all to stop. How can I make it stop? I need it to stop. I need the life back I once had. I've lost myself in everything. There are so many colours in my head just coming in and out so fast where I'm so lost. I need it to stop. Please help :, ( I don't know what's happening to me :(

Have you got a crisis number you can call? Are you having at treatment?

I've just started treatment for bed and I've got a gp appointment tomorrow to ask to go back on medicine for anxiety. No crisis. I'm not a crisis I don't think. I've never been but maybe when it stops it'll be better

The colours thing sounds odd. Treatment for "bed?"
Can you hang on until tomorrow?

Crisis team is for when things get this bad. Ask GP if you can be referred to them

Are you having something like hallucinations? Can you phone an eating disorders or mental health helpline?

If you can't wait till morning phone the NHS line

Good advice Marchate. Hoped someone would come along who was less clueless than me.

Wolfiefan, I'm probably just (a lot) older!

MrsCK, did something specific cause you to have such a frightening episode tonight? And have you had similar experiences during previous anxiety attacks? Was this one worse than usual? I know you said it was the worst ever but you had barely come out of it. In retrospect do you still think it was particularly bad?

Doubt it Marchate!
OP you still here?

Sorry yes, still here. I'd exhausted myself and fell asleep. I think I was very much still in anxiety mode when I posted. I hadn't realised that and think I was panicking. It's never been like that before :(
