I am terribly missing my psychologist. I saw him for about 9 months, every week almost. And i miss him terribly. Im sure its transference and will go away soon, but its been over 3 months almost. sad

I guess its because he helped me so much and is the first man I've ever been able to trust...

I sent him a thank you letter because i was rubbish in my thank you in person at our last session, and i sent a Christmas card. Thats the last of the appropriate contact i can have, and obviously he didn't respond as he shouldn't and I didn't expect.... But i just MISS HIM ALOT.

How do i get past it? Anyone got any tips?

Sounds a bit like you were developing an emotional attachment to him. Like splitting up with your first teenage love... time does help.

Thanks for replying. I hope it does. Is it normal, that? Like normal transference or a bit too much?
