Right, let bedtime chaos commence chez pumble town!

Good work filling the thread magi!

I don't know where I would be without these threads....come such a long way since December 2012 when It all began... Certainly life would be very different if I hadn't started them and had such amazing support!

Glad it was a good swim-so fantastic when it all falls into place.

2 pumblettes asleep and p3 mid evening cluster feeding but life is calm for the moment at least!

Making salt dough decorations with the big pumblettes. So good to do something fun with them with no shouting/nagging!

Sounds lovely & am very impressed by your craft skills!

Wet & windy here - have to venture in to town & then think am going to the cinema this afternoon to see Bridge of Spies - I love Mark Rylance.

Report
Pumble · 01/12/2015 19:32

You would be less impressed if you saw the results of the salt dough!

How was Mark Rylance Wink

Got a bloody puncture today... Have to confess to phoning the AA to get me out of trouble!! P2 was a superstar as a lot of sitting around in kwikfit waiting for the new tyre!

P3 has decided his grumpy time is mid to late afternoon...ideal time to scream don't you think?!

OP posts:

magimedi · 01/12/2015 19:49

Mark Rylance was a bit of a curate's egg - good in parts.

No one in the damn film could smoke properly - FFS if you are going to get your actors to have a drag (& as it was set in 1950's everyone smoked) at least make sure they know how to do it!!

Too damn right to phone AA with 3 x Pumblettes on board - no way could you have changed that tyre.

Mid to late arvo is better than 10pm!!

AM just about to send you a PM!!

Oh bugger, bugger, bugger.

When does Mr P get back?

Have you got all the calamine lotion, bicarb for baths or whatever is used now to ease the itching? Can you get a friend to get you some?

Report
Pumble · 02/12/2015 07:53

I have nothing in to calm itching and today was food shopping day so supplies seriously depleted....

Wondering whether to drive to my parents? Bugger bugger bugger! Not what was needed! Mr P back late tomorrow night so not too bad but still not ideal timing!

Can you do an online shop?

Can you get a friend to get you some stuff?

Some pharmacies will deliver.

Isn't it quite a long drive to your parents?? Would that not be a stress-fest with P3 & ill P1?

Wish I lived closer.

Somebody is bringing some pox mousse stuff. She's remarkably jolly at the moment but more spots every second! Day of reading and painting ahead, and they might even sit down to watch a film, something we never do so a massive treat!

It is two and a half hours to my parents so probably not wise!! I hate being stuck in the house!!

Hooray for someone bringing pox mousse.

And a film won't hurt at all - it will give you a breakwhich is important.

So agree with you about being stuck in - I suffer from 'house rot' if I don't get out every day.

It's reasonably bright here - can you hop out into the garden for 10 mins or so while they are viewing the film?

And let Mr P know that you will be heading straight out the door when he gets home tomorrow - even if it's just for a walk round the block.

Pumble · 02/12/2015 13:11

She's been remarkably jolly so gave all managed to be in the garden for a bit. Getting lots of washing on so that's a bonus. Every cloud and all that

You sound amazingly cheery!

At least it's not a week before Christmas - I wonder how soon P2 will go down with it?

Am assuming that P3 is protected by being breast fed?

Report
Pumble · 02/12/2015 16:43

Hopefully p2 will be clear by Christmas. Apparently it's unclear whether p3 will get it but if he does it will be mild hopefully.... P3 Come down with a cold too... Fun times!!!

Hope your day was more jolly...

Poor you. At least you should be clear by Christmas & at least it's December & you aren't missing lovely outside weather.

Hope P1 doesn't get too itchy & doesn't scratch. I remember when I had it (aged about 8) being told that if I scratched the scabs I'd be scarred. I scratched every single one & don't have a single scar.

My day was filled with housework, shopping & cooking but reasonably jolly.

Hope Mr P gets home at a decent time tomorrow so you can get out.

Everybody slept last night Smile

P1 very spotty this morning with some enormous blisters but she is doing ok. Not looking forward to another day under house arrest but hey ho! P1 wants to make mince pies and thankfully I have some mincemeat in so that looks likely. Maybe some more salt dough decorations too....!

You are doing so well - chapeau as they say in France - or 'hats off to you' as they say in UK.
