I have emetophobia-severe fear of vomit-and my son has been retching! My youngest was sick a couple days ago but is ok now. Now this one is at it. I'm freaking out! OH is drunk on a night out. In his way home though-I hope.
This fear is crippling! I had a dodgy tummy earlier but it could well be anxiety related... Who knows?!
I'm sat here shaking like a leaf, wishing I was somewhere, anywhere else. The desire to run away is overwhelming.
Anyone out there want to keep me company while I attempt to 'deal' with this?

Sounds awful, how long until DH is likely to be home?
Do you have any rescue remedy always helps to calm my anxiety.

He got home pretty quick but when he arrived, he announced that he'd also been sick while he was out!! I'm now at my mums with the baby, in a vain attempt of germ-dodging

I've tried everything. Cbt-rubbish. Counselling-mumsnet is more effective! Hypnotherapy has been the only thing that's taken the edge off but that was really expensive and you can't access that on NHS.

How are you OP? As an emetophobe myself you have my sympathy and messages of solidarity.

Thanks. It's the shittest of the shit! The bug brought me down on Monday night... The tging I was dreading the most! Awful. It'll take me weeks to get over it, mentally and physically. I'm snapping at the kids and OH because I feel so wound up and anxious.
All this on top of a pretty horrendous 18 months is making for a rubbish time at the mo
