Mental health and getting a job

Hey there, wonder if anyone can help or share their experience of jobs and suffering with mental health problems. My DP has a long list of MH problems, depression, OCD, social anxiety and he also feels he has BPD. He never had a job until age of late 20's (was at university doing a degree he has no interest in now and then his mental health stopped him working). In that time we lived together and I supported him financially etc. anyway the last few years he has had a few jobs but never stuck to them until this recent job of a year where he is now deeply unhappy there but we have a child so he knows he shouldn't just leave although I know he wishes he could just leave and not work. His ideal job is working alone but not completely isolated and he has no idea in what industry or role.
Not sure if this is the right place to post but I wonder what other people with MH issues do in terms of work?
Any job suggestions? Something he wouldn't really need too much training, although happy to do some.

What jobs has he done? What skills does he have / could develop?

What about technical writing? Although he would need a technical aptitude.

Accounts technician?

Alternatively, something outdoorsy like landscape gardening might help his mental health.

Check out roles in the Nhs in information services, such as clinical coding. This is basically assigning codes to patient records to create databanks. That was just off the top of my head. I would say avoid any job which has a precarious contract.

he's done a bit of retail but mostly admin and some of that within the NHS. He also is a little knowledgeable on sports/fitness, Web design. Thank you for your suggestions
