Is there any help available on the nhs? I was brave enough to ask doc for help for the first time in my life only to be told that there wasn't any available while pregnant as no medication was allowed. I was in tears down the phone to her anyway but I should have asked about non medicated help ie cbt or talking therapies. She was utterly useless and now I am put off asking for help again but still worrying my anxiety and negative thoughts will affect baby.
I have my first midwife apt next week so was thinking of asking there but don't want to receive the same pathetic response. Has anyone had any experience of this? If so what help were you offered? I really need to address the anxiety as I am concerned it will get worse and I want to do everything right for my little baby.
Thank you
