It's very odd, the crisis team doesn't exist any more.

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 16:55:31

Huh? What do they have instead? Aren't you being visited this weekend then?

CaulkheadUpNorth Sat 07-Feb-15 16:55:33

You won't believe number 14!

UpOnDown Sat 07-Feb-15 16:56:35

I am being visited. The amht work 7-8 each day 7 days a week, with someone covering over night.

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 16:56:39

grin Caulk

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 16:57:11

I see Up. That's a bit weird. Are you okay with it?

HellinaHandbasket Sat 07-Feb-15 16:59:06

Hello new thread.

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:01:18

BTW Hellina, how's it going at the moment? Am hoping for a less difficult week for you this week. Are you sleeping okay?

CaulkheadUpNorth Sat 07-Feb-15 17:01:29

Who wants tea?

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:02:04

Skimmed and one sweetener pls

UpOnDown Sat 07-Feb-15 17:02:29

Yes, it's ok. I know the number to ring now (didn't before).

UpOnDown Sat 07-Feb-15 17:02:54

Skimmed please.

HellinaHandbasket Sat 07-Feb-15 17:02:59

Skimmed no sugar please.

It's a little better thanks Enn. See therapist again this week which should be helpful.

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:06:24

Hope so Hellina. smile

It's always confusing Up; I was never sure when I was under HTT whether to ring their number or the crisis team number. At least now anyone is allowed to ring the crisis team - several years ago, I once tried to ring a few months after I'd been discharged from CMHT, and just got "who are you and how did you get this number and what do you expect us to do for you?"

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:09:56

I think the Armmy should be required to provide ongoing and lifelong MH care for all soldiers even after discharge. It's not fair on the civilians that our services have to skew towards the quite different needs of a traumatised population of damaged men and it's certainly not fair to them that theyre expected to talk about this stuff with civilians (they never do).

CaulkheadUpNorth Sat 07-Feb-15 17:11:34

<hands out tea>

UpOnDown Sat 07-Feb-15 17:12:02

To talk to the crisis team before it changed here, they would only talk to you if you were on their list (i.e. referred by CMHT). It was awful.

I've just found an article about it all.

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:12:22

Mavis is supposed to be coming round, but she never answered last night and tonight bay be going the same way. She's not the whore of Babylon, she's a very naughty girl!

HellinaHandbasket Sat 07-Feb-15 17:13:34

Mavis using your bath again?

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:14:17

I see UpOn - it looks like it might be quite a good idea, actually - but it all depends how it's implemented, I suppose - like all these things it could be great if funded properly and shit if done on a shoestring

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:15:17

Supposedly Hellina. She likes to luxuriate and wave her limbs around in it for hours

HellinaHandbasket Sat 07-Feb-15 17:20:34

I'm having an evening in with a moussaka. Bugger all on the TV though.

Ennn Sat 07-Feb-15 17:21:31

There is theoretically Army help for veterans but civvy services still seem to be heaving with ex soldiers.

I dunno. Maybe they prefer it to the MH services for veterans.

UpOnDown Sat 07-Feb-15 17:21:43

I hope you hear from Mavis soon. I think it's more shoestring than well funded hmm
