Do you ever call out of hours when you're feeling low and scared?

Some evenings I get so down and agitated that I keep crying and have thoughts of sh. These urges can take over and I give in sometimes. My head gets muddled and I feel panicky, alone and scared.

I feel I need some kind of support, but I don't know what. I've texted Samaritans a lot today and yesterday, I don't want to stress and worry friends and family any more than I already do, plus they're not trained in this kind of thing and can make me feel worse.

I attempted suicide at the end of last week, spent a night in a&e but have had no extra support apart from my cc who I saw today before she goes on holiday. I have no numbers to call.

If you want a medical appointment and to see someone before 9am tomorrow you can phone 111 to get an our of hours gp appointment. That is a common route to get seen, assessed and appropriate treatment - is that what you mean?

You can also phone Samaritans so you have a person to talk to not just text.

Maybe it's someone to talk to, or a place where I would feel safer. Not too sure.

Are you on medication OP?

I can relate to your post, in the day though for me and two weeks ago, I would regularly break down in tears and get myself in such a state I started feeling unreal. It's very scary and yes I have phoned out of hours and asked to speak to the on duty mental health nurse.

Ultimately though, it's about facing your anxieties. Teaching yourself that there is nothing to fear. I had a break down eight weeks ago and when I do have moments of anxiety, I remind myself that in eight weeks, whilst feeling panicky and scared is horrible, none of my fears actually happened. I didn't go crazy, I didn't die, I didn't lose control. And neither will you.
