HV referring me to mental health nurse.....

After filling in her questionnaire and HV is still visiting me at home. My children are 2.5 and 8 weeks. My first daughter was still born at 42 weeks in June 2010.

I don't think I have PND I think I have some form of depression/anxiety. I have had 3 children in 3.5 years and pregnancy/breast feeding has taken its toll. Its really hard to express how I feel though. It's almost like I would need someone to be with me permemantly and for me to give a running commentary. I think last year was really trying for me (bereavement, being pregnant, work) after a couple of okish years.

How do I explain how I feel? What will the nurse do? Do they just listen?

It might be a positive thing to get a chance to talk about this with someone. If you feel like you can't explain things on the spot very well, you could try jotting some things down beforehand. I did that when I used to struggle arranging my own thoughts, let alone speaking them out loud. Even if you then read them yourself instead of handing it over, it'll jog your memory.
