I would just like to say that I am feeling a lot better now than from how I was last year.
Last year was awful, but I feel like myself again now. :D
I still don't really have any proper friends, well I shouldn't say that, I have one sort of long distance-ish friend, whose party I went to on Saturday, and I had a fantastic time.
Still no boyfriend, but I'm probably not ready for that yet, after last year.
I hope this can be a bit inspirational to someone. I never thought I'd get over 'it' but I did!
I started a yoga course at the beginning of January and have been twice already, it's really fun and interesting. Haven't really talked to anyone there yet, but at least it's something to look forward to each week.
I also have a job which I started back in October, it's only temporary but hey, in this day and age, anything is better than nothing!
I'm not going to say that some days aren't hard, still, and I do quite often find my thoughts dragging back to what happened last year, and feeling down on myself, but it nowhere near feels as bad as last year.
I hope this may give someone hope that things can improve. Even if your circumstances don't change that drastically, it is possible to feel better. I wish I was writing this from a position where I could say my life was fully transformed, I was married with a baby living in some faraway country and a millionaire and with a successful writing career. Needless to say I'm not, I'm still single etc etc, with a fairly mundane job and no proper friends, but I still don't feel as bad as I did when I was ill.
I'm still on Sertraline 100mg per day, but I hope I can come off them by the end of the year.
I wish everyone all the best, thanks for reading.
