Not sure what to do. Called everyone in my phone and no-one wants to see me.

I am so on the edge. No trigger. No nothing.

HoopHopes Mon 07-Oct-13 22:17:41

If you phone gp now you will get the number for your out of hours gp so you can phone them. Tell them you need to see a gp due to mental health issues and they should see you tonight. You will get a long list of standard questions everyone gets asked whether they have an ear infection, tonsillitis or whatever. Just tell them you need to speak to a trained nurse or dr and insist on it. They will call you back and should offer you an appointment tonight.

Failing that phone gp's tomorrow and insist on an urgent appointment for any gp on Tuesday. Some towns have walk in centres where you just turn up, take a ticket and wait your turn if that is another option for you.

Did you find my PM? Just take it one day at a time. Hope you're ok tonight and managed to get through the day. It will get easier.

Could you try your out of hours GP?

FavoriteThings Mon 07-Oct-13 19:07:55

I do not know what sort of GP system you have. I presume it varies in every area. I think we still have an out of hours system.
Do you have that system?

Sharpkat Mon 07-Oct-13 18:52:47

No call from GP again xxx

SnowyMouse Mon 07-Oct-13 17:45:55

(((( Sharpkat )))) talk if you need to.

I had a look at JulieMumsnet's links. But not sure they are the ones you really need. I dont know what you think?

I have linked this, in case this is of any help to you. Some of the stuff you can do over the phone, so dont have to see anyone.

Sharpkat Mon 07-Oct-13 17:09:04

Called my GP but they have not got back to me.

Failing rapidly.

Wishing you a better day today Sharpkat. One day at a time. X

Sharpkat Mon 07-Oct-13 07:10:32

Thank you all. This has made me cry.

Today is a new day and a new week and I am going to fight through an turn things around.

Mummyoftheyear Sun 06-Oct-13 22:26:19

I've sent you a personal message, Sharpkat ;)

FavoriteThings Sun 06-Oct-13 19:59:12

Sharpkat. Because of what has happened to you, you may want to post a new thread in chat, and just post basic details of your situation. Your mental Health has been greatly affected by what has happened. And though us on here will try our best, I think you need to talk through what has happened with more posters who have been through what you have been through. hth

Many thanks to those who have pointed us towards this thread.

We do second the excellent advice that you've been given on here, Sharpkat. There's a few places of support off the boards that may be able to help you too,

We're wishing you all the best. thanks

SnowyMouse Sun 06-Oct-13 19:30:24

Could you find somewhere to post in (e.g.) chat here to distract yourself if your RL friends are busy? Thinking of you.

Mummyoftheyear Sun 06-Oct-13 17:50:39

Try not to take it personally that she / other friends are busy. They probably are. It takes time to feel better. In the meantime, look after yourself and treat yourself as an ideal friend would. This includes the things you think about and tell yourself.

Sharpkat Sun 06-Oct-13 17:13:55

Back to feeling rubbish. Offered my best friend supper but she is busy. Called another 50 friends but no-one around.

Mummyoftheyear Sun 06-Oct-13 09:58:54

How are you today? Any chance of going to see someone you can talk to I'm RL as well as us (we are still here)? It'll help even more!

FavoriteThings Sun 06-Oct-13 08:33:43

Well done for getting yourself to a&e. That would have taken a lot of courage.

Do you yourself or trusted friends or relatives know trustworthy people in the medical profession who they could point you too, who could give you names of people that can start to help put your life back together again?

Mummyoftheyear Sun 06-Oct-13 00:45:34

Well done for taking yourself to A&E. Still holding your hand virtually. Sounds like you need seal voices and caring faces, too at the moment. So glad to hear you have friends you can talk to. Here if you need us.

Sharpkat Sat 05-Oct-13 22:28:58

Thanks everyone and favourite. Been to a&e. dosed up on Valium and just home.

Favourite - you know exactly why i am like this from my previous post.

Just struggling with it all

FavoriteThings Sat 05-Oct-13 18:25:33

I hope you dont mind but I had a look to see if you have posted before on mumsnet, and you have.
I am no expert but I would say that what you talked about before is hugely relevant to what you are talking about and thinking about now. That sort of thing does not just go away.

You didnt post in huge detail but you need help, and I can understand why you feel unable to get that help. But what he did is not normal and is not even normal for his profession. How do I know this? I know someone reputable who did the same job, and he would have told me if that was the case. I realise that is not going to make you feel a whole lot better anytime soon though.

My advice, with only knowing some of the details, is yes definitely carry on with the complaint when you feel up to it again. There is a legal board on here who seem to give very good advice, and I am sure they would have no hesitation in helping you with anything to do with your case.

Have you had anything like this ever before?

As Donkeys says, call 999 if you need to. They wont mind at all.

Sharpkat Sat 05-Oct-13 13:51:44

Thank you all for your kind messages

Called Samaritans. Called friends.

No reason for this episode. Just all out of sorts and fighting. Fighting real hard to stop myself being bad.

Thank you all x

DonkeysDontRideBicycles Sat 05-Oct-13 12:17:05

I don't know your personal circumstances but reaching out on here was a good thing , the Samaritans are good listeners, if you are frightened call 999, stay safe.
