Not sure what to do. Called everyone in my phone and no-one wants to see me.

I am so on the edge. No trigger. No nothing.

Have you talked to anyone in rl since posting?

Do you have a mental health support worker? Why do your friends and family not want to see you?

Report
Mummyoftheyear · 05/10/2013 12:01

Holding your other hand.

Sharpcat do you think you may hurt yourself or try to take your life? Or are you feeling 'out of sorts'?
Try and stay focused. You obviously want to talk about it, have you tried the samaritians? x

I suggest you talk / type about how you feel. Her the demons out ;)
Samaritans can listen well and advise if it's needed/ relevant. Equally, caring mumsnetters can listen , albeit remotely (not able to hear or see you). Just pleeeeease don't feel alone. Many of us feel similarly (although I don't, of course, know exactly how you feel).
I sometimes wander around feeling like I need to cry and hide in bed , feeling alone and lonely, imagining / convinced that I have no friends and that my relationships are shit. Thing I've learnt is that moods (even and especially extremely low moods) can turn our thoughts to such a low level that we can become convinced that the negative thoughts we come up with are true.
Don't know whether any of this makes sense. You're not alone. Xx

Hello, can you talk here? Can we help you.

I don't know your personal circumstances but reaching out on here was a good thing , the Samaritans are good listeners, if you are frightened call 999, stay safe.

Thank you all for your kind messages

Called Samaritans. Called friends.

No reason for this episode. Just all out of sorts and fighting. Fighting real hard to stop myself being bad.

Thank you all x

Have you had anything like this ever before?

As Donkeys says, call 999 if you need to. They wont mind at all.

Report
FavoriteThings · 05/10/2013 18:25

I hope you dont mind but I had a look to see if you have posted before on mumsnet, and you have.
I am no expert but I would say that what you talked about before is hugely relevant to what you are talking about and thinking about now. That sort of thing does not just go away.

You didnt post in huge detail but you need help, and I can understand why you feel unable to get that help. But what he did is not normal and is not even normal for his profession. How do I know this? I know someone reputable who did the same job, and he would have told me if that was the case. I realise that is not going to make you feel a whole lot better anytime soon though.

My advice, with only knowing some of the details, is yes definitely carry on with the complaint when you feel up to it again. There is a legal board on here who seem to give very good advice, and I am sure they would have no hesitation in helping you with anything to do with your case.

Well done for taking yourself to A&E. Still holding your hand virtually. Sounds like you need seal voices and caring faces, too at the moment. So glad to hear you have friends you can talk to. Here if you need us.

Well done for getting yourself to a&e. That would have taken a lot of courage.

Do you yourself or trusted friends or relatives know trustworthy people in the medical profession who they could point you too, who could give you names of people that can start to help put your life back together again?

How are you today? Any chance of going to see someone you can talk to I'm RL as well as us (we are still here)? It'll help even more!

Back to feeling rubbish. Offered my best friend supper but she is busy. Called another 50 friends but no-one around.

Try not to take it personally that she / other friends are busy. They probably are. It takes time to feel better. In the meantime, look after yourself and treat yourself as an ideal friend would. This includes the things you think about and tell yourself.

SnowyMouse · 06/10/2013 19:30

Could you find somewhere to post in (e.g.) chat here to distract yourself if your RL friends are busy? Thinking of you.

Hi,

Many thanks to those who have pointed us towards this thread.

We do second the excellent advice that you've been given on here, Sharpkat. There's a few places of support off the boards that may be able to help you too, //www.mumsnet.com/webguide/mental-health.

We're wishing you all the best. Thanks

Sharpkat. Because of what has happened to you, you may want to post a new thread in chat, and just post basic details of your situation. Your mental Health has been greatly affected by what has happened. And though us on here will try our best, I think you need to talk through what has happened with more posters who have been through what you have been through. hth
