Goodnight all you lovely inhabitants of this special place x

EdwiniasRevenge Sat 20-Jul-13 22:59:24

I will reply on tge new thread but wanted to offer huge hugs to ua.

I'm happy to listen by PM if and when you are ready. There were some problems that arose for me that I couldnt air on the thread. I PM'd a couple of people and their advice and 'counselling' was sooo valuable. Take care.

ThatVikRinA22 Sat 20-Jul-13 22:18:37

we have a new thread folks....didnt want this one to run out of room.

ColouringInQueen Sat 20-Jul-13 21:49:45

(((Hugs))) ua

mouses take care, hang in there, you will get there it just takes a lot longer than we'd like.

Hi lem hope you get to relax tonight. Great news re your win!

vicar all I can come up with after 2 glasses of wine is "summertime and if the living's not so easy, pop in here"

snowy hope you're having a nice evening tonight.

I've had a pretty good day. Dh booked me a massage for my birthday and it was really good. Took dd swimming this pm which was nice and now having quiet eve in front of tv with glass of wine.

If any of you are reading this and relatively new to treatment and still feeling shit, then hold on. Back in Feb I couldn't manage more than 3 hours out of bed, daily suicidal thoughts, calls to the samaritans. Recovery is possible. It took a lot longer than I would have liked, and I'm not completely there, but I am a lot better now than in Feb.

Love to all x

SnowyMouse Fri 19-Jul-13 16:53:00

Welcome babyheave

ColouringInQueen Fri 19-Jul-13 16:28:15

Hi snowy yes you could be right.

babyheave welcome and feel free to look in any time! It's been a bit quieter the last couple of days, but there's usually someone around... hope you're surviving the heat!

nenevomito Fri 19-Jul-13 15:09:04

Hi folks, hope you don't mind me looking in. Vicar I have rats too. smile

SnowyMouse Fri 19-Jul-13 14:08:20

Thanks vicar Maybe the weather is draining people, CiQ ?

ColouringInQueen Fri 19-Jul-13 12:17:32

Hi everyone

Quieter on here this week - hope that's for good reasons!

vicar glad to hear rattie crisis averted and youve been enjoying a breeze where you are. Beautiful here.

Just done 30ins of a yoga dvd which was such hard work. Clearly my current one is easy and dh had bought me an "intensive" one. hmm

Have had dull morning otherwise tidying, hoovering, washing while dh is working an treehouse. Cant seem to find the words to say it would be nicer for me if we shared both. ..

Next need to do supermarket shop (yawn) but that should be it for chores today I hope!

Anyhow enough wingeing..

ThatVikRinA22 Thu 18-Jul-13 23:38:22

evening everyone -
just want to say snowy - it know its hard and you want to shrink away from the people who are seemingly making things so uncomfortable for you - but they are seeing things from a much more impartial viewpoint - please hang on in there. x

ive not posted for a few days - came off nights this morning. am now on my second wind....i didnt go to bed but chose to clean out the ratties at 7am and then went to lie and snooze in the garden - slightly flawed plan as A) the sun lounger is too small to get comfy on to sleep and B) the HEAT!!! i kept moving into shade but i have a south facing garden and by the time mid morning came there was no shade.

i went back out at tea time and nearly fell asleep then as it was just cooling down with a lovely breeze...

had a ratty crisis tonight - Pearly paws seemed to have inhaled something that had got stuck....she panicked and i thought she was choking....but after a frantic phone call to the vet she told me what to do and she seems ok now. These rats will be the death of me....they have such strong personalities its impossible not to get attached.

anyway. i only have one more week at work until my hols (at home but still - time off! whoopee!)

got my appointment through for the 24 hour ph test for the fundoplasty - really not looking forward to that one but i really want the surgery so needs must. I cant go on with this stupid cough.

we need a new thread too guys - any ideas for a theme for a title? it takes me a while to come up titles fitting of such a lovely witty caring bunch as you all are! smile

ideas please ladies.....

SnowyMouse Thu 18-Jul-13 20:37:47

Just had a nice lukewarm shower, which is supposed to help.

ColouringInQueen Thu 18-Jul-13 19:13:18

Sympathy snowy. Although it's boiling I'm surviving cos I'm not working, and I really believe the sun helps my mood and anxiety quite a lot so after the 6 month winter I am trying to make the most of it x

SnowyMouse Thu 18-Jul-13 17:47:38

I'm definitely not one for the heat, saturday looks a little better.

ColouringInQueen Thu 18-Jul-13 17:34:46

///waving/// to everyone. Nice day sketching with some painting ladies and picnic. dsis round tonight which will be lovely smile

(((hugs))) to notso I think that impostor thing is v common among women. I bet you're very capable.

hoochy yes that switching sounds familiar too. Hope today's been better.

Ed hope you survived the heat today.

snowy hope you're ok and enjoying those flake ice creams.

take care all x

hoochymama1 Thu 18-Jul-13 16:31:20

Notso hope it goes well tomorrow. You sound like your good at what you do.
