When does PND become just D?

I was diagnosed with pnd just after DS was born and he's nearly 2 yo. I'm on ADs and tried counciling but the woman (I refuse to call her a therapist) was horrible and made me feel worse so I stopped after a few sessions.
It has been a tough couple of years. DS needed major surgery when he was a month old (he's healthy now). We've moved twice because of DH's job and I had to give up a job I loved because of the move.
I'm looking for work but not even getting to the interview stage hmm. I try to keep busy with toddler groups, but I don't have any friends here. Family is very far away so not much help.
I keep telling myself it will get better, but I'm starting to lose hope.

Thanks Smudging. DH has been mostly helpful and he's trying to be more supportive.
I do try to get out at least once a day and since I don't drive I get a bit if exercise. Ive been trying to be social and next weekend we may go visit friends which helps. I know a lot of it is that horrible voice in my head saying that I'm useless and will never get a job and people won't like me. Or worse they'll pretend to like me but will make fun of me behind my back. I was bullied by 'friends' at school so this is a long standing fear.
Im seeing the doc next week and I'll ask about counciling.
