I am a glass half empty person - always have been. I am spoiling great chunks of my life by worrying incessantly about things that I cannot change, or do not warrant the amount of time spent worrying. I wish, really wish, I could be happy and optimistic. Is there a way to change?
I don't think I am depressed, maybe a bit anxious, but just wish I could look on the bright side instead of always finding things to worry about. DH says I actively look for stuff to worry about instead of just being happy in the moment.
Any ideas? Am I a prime candidate for CBT?
