NHS Psychotherapist Retiring - Not sure what happens to me?

The NHS Consultant Psychotherapist who I've been seeing for a year has told me she is retiring in four weeks time!

So I'd like to ask has anyone got any idea as to where I stand with receiving further care from the NHS. I'm concerned as it appears my local NHS Trust has not recruited or appointed a replacement Psychotherapist. They seem to have no plan as to what their doing.

Does the NHS have any duty to find a Psychotherapist to continue the therapy I'm receiving? My current Psychotherapist seems very guarded when I ask what will happen?

I'm also worried that I might be asked to travel quite far to see a new Psychotherapist in a different county - I'm normally quite traumatised after each session so I don't feel able to travel too far.

Any thoughts or advice?
