I've been doing quite well for a while and starting to feel on top of things, dieting, going to the gym, socialising etc.

For the last few days I feel like I've been hit with a sledgehammer, my get up and go has gone, I'm wanting to sleep all the time and don't want to go to work (I enjoy my job) never mind go out of the house. I don't want to be on my own, but, snap and snarl at dh and the dcs when they are here with me.

I'm on medication and on the maximum dose that is allowed, I hate feeling like this.

Feeling better isn't always a slow steady progression, I think a lot of people have good times and bad times, shoo try not to think that a bad time means the end of the world!

Perhaps your doctor may want to review your medication? Could you get an appointment and just tell them what you've put here?

One thing I found useful when 'in recovery' from deep depression was a diary. Even if I just gave each day a number gg 1/10 for a bad day, 8/10 was much better, I could look back and see that a) going up and down was normal b) overall the tend was upwards.

Hope you feel better soon; try and believe that you will!
