Please don't be worried of asking for more help if you need it. If anything it will then look positive, because you are actively working to improve the lives of your DC by addressing a problem. And you don't have to say anything to your neighbors.

my gp has prescribed me medication for anxiety but thats all.

The housing officers at the council have been pretty supportive.... Have mailed them in the middle of the night at times becuase of the destress the neighbours have been causing us.

I was worried about asking for any more help. If my neighbours got wind of it they would use it against me. ss were contacted because of the complaints I made and now they are doing everything in their power to make my life hard, even though we have been staying at my mums.

The call with progress is fantastic news, I will keep everything crossed for you.

Staying with your mother as an adult yourself is always testing, so I do hope that happens for you soon.

Are you getting any professional support to help you during this?

That's good news about the call, I hope you get some good news soon. xxx

Had a quiet day. I was dreading the snow but its done me a favour. Work is shut for the next few days because of the weather so it will give me time to clear my head and focus my attention on the children.
Had a call today and hopefully there has been a bit of progress in finding us somewhere to live. Nothing is certain but its heading in the right direction.

Still struggling with the constant worry about it all but Im trying to ignore it for now and keep my attention on the kids. We had fun in the snow today and my mum watched them for a while this afternoon while I had a rest/nap.

I just hope this is all over soon. We are miles from our flat/the childrens school and Im trying to keep working etc....its all exhausting. I can tell the kids are fed up and after 7 1/2 months of living in limbo I just want some consistency for us all.

How are you feeling today?

NineTen Fri 18-Jan-13 00:43:44

just going through something pretty crap. have no where to live and are staying with my mum....shes lovely but that comment wasnt very helpful. The end is sort of in sight but its timescale is unknown and its driving me insane. Have been bullied out of my own home and my life has been on hold and in limbo for the last 6 months. Im emotionally exhausted.

That sucks NineTen. I'm sorry she was not at all helpful.

Big hugs xxx

Glad to see your mum is being so helpful hmm

Anything in particular going on, or would you rather be distracted?
