Seriously. Its like being on The Big One at Blackpool, but without the exhilaration, and all of the nauseating, fling you up and down bits.

Last month - terrible depression, went a bit bonkers, horrible mixed episode, two days of feeling fucking marvellous, two days of feeling normal, but today I'm back to feeling edgy and nervous.

What an utter load of bollocks it is. I want to get off and I want a refund.

Is it just me?

no, not just you. I am worse at this time of year when the nights are drawing in. I need to get enough sleep and exercise and time outdoors during daylight to function.

Yep, I'm missing daylight as well. When it was still light, I'd go cycling (how ironic) to try and help my mood. Now I can't do anything and its a pain.

A couple of years ago my gp told me to at least get up from my desk and walk once around the building at lunchtime. Just takes 15 minutes and does lighten the mood.

I'd be happy if it would just even out a bit!

I'm still getting out, but I tend to fester in the evenings which is when its at its worst. The time between putting the children to bed and going to bed myself.

you tried lithium? Its my lifesaver. Unfortunately only a shrink can prescribe it.

I'm on Lamotrigine and Quetiapine instead of lithium. I'm way better than I was at my sickest. I just need to give it time.
