Gardening. Helpful for people who are prone to depression in winter as exposure to maximum daylight all year round and always signs of new life in the garden.

Have a look at Action for Happiness either on the Internet or via Facebook.

I am taking Magnesium, Calcium, B vitamins and Agnus Castus (for PMT). Working on improving my sleep issues and have started running (want ot get fit enough to run with friends). I am also keeping a mood diary which is interesting.

Numerous self help books, google "books on prescription" to get ideas of possibly useful titles.

Coming off hormonal contraception helps some people.

See if your local children's centre offers any parenting courses. I know this some weird, but many parenting courses use CBT ideas. I did a course on Protective Behaviours which I found useful.

Another source of help is to see what the charity "Mind" offers in your area.
