- Cerazette - mood swings!

Hi, I've just come across the site and what a Godsend! I truly thought I was going mad. I was prescribed Cerazette 6 weeks ago - previously had the mirena coil with few side effects. After about a week I started to become moody. 2 weeks later I started feeling angry which has worsened. I have started screaming at my children to the point that they were scared! I've never shouted at them like this before! I have been waking throughout the night and if I sleep through it is a disturbed sleep. Over the past week I have cried everyday and although I can feel fine one minute the next minute it feels like a black cloud has come over and I've started to have terrible irrational thoughts. I have never been on anti-depressants, I have a wonderful boyfriend, my own house, a job and 2 beautiful girls - yet with all of these wonderful things in my life I have suddenly had overwhelming feelings of losing control, sudden anger, tearfulness and wanting to switch off from everyone! I am going to stop taking Cerazette immediately! I am absolutley convinced that it is solely due to this drug that I am having these horrendous mood swings.

I am on cerazette & im more stressed /anxious than before. I have PND but can't take anti-Ds and have used the pill in the past to calm my mood seings
