We are Mums and others in Leeds campaigning to save a service that has been saving Mums' lives for twenty years. We don't know much about campaigning but we feel outraged that a service which gives instant help to anyone in a crisis is scheduled to close without any thought. We haven't been consulted - they seem to think it can be done without a fuss. We have set up a blog which has two stories from ordinary mums: "I didn't have a year to wait" saveleedscrisiscentre.wordpress.com/2011/01/18/i-didnt-have-a-year-to-wait-for-help-i-needed-it-then/ and "post natal depression nearly killed me" saveleedscrisiscentre.wordpress.com/2011/01/18/post-natal-depression-drove-me-close-to-suicide/. More than 1000 people have visited in four days! We need more support though so that the council at least stop to think before acting. We are also on Twitter: @saveleedscrisis
Hope it's ok to post this and that people will help.
