well it's too late for today, but I will come on late evening and chivvy you about getting ?food ?uniform ?bags ready for tomorrow.

probably given these economic times someone would take cash in hand for school run BUT if you are scared about money could you afford it.

the easy bit is Xmas - what is the concern? how many do you feel you have to buy presents for?

Aw, Trin :( Today is one day. Tomorrow, set your alarm twenty minutes early. Get yourself up and organised before getting the DC up and ready. Get them to school. That is an achievement. Don't be too hard on yourself. Baby steps, 'k? x

Are you getting enough sleep?

I tend to feel like everything's too much when I haven't had a decent sleep in ages.

You'll manage, most days. Just sometimes it'll catch up with you. Sounds like it'd have been a difficult journey if only one of the girls is really fit for school.

Try again tomorrow -

regarding Christmas, loads of us are in a difficult financial position so we can all help with ideas.

but I just doint want to go out in the world

its horrid
people look at me, judge me, I'm cold

I forget what I'm supposed to do and them get back and have to go out again for messages

I've got a diary and have been successful for a coupke of weeks now but its so fucking hard to keep looking at it all the time, literally hundreds of times a day just to remember what I'm doing

I'm mentally exhausted
I want to stop the world and get off for a bit

If possible, do your crimbo shopping online. There are loads of good deals about. Maybe if you tell us what you're after we can track some down for you?

Oh I get what you mean with the organising. It's hard work just thinking about it, isn't it.

I got packs of 25 cards from the corner shop for a pound - have got a few spare cards from last year too, so DS has plenty for his class. Not sure how you get a class list - do you have a class photo? I always get stuck at about 23!

I'm not surprised that they have outlawed sleep deprivation as a form of torture

babysteps. x Can you get everything ready tonight? All shoes, clothes, socks, your clothes etc. Just take it one child at a time. Whereabouts are you, I think it's north isn't it? Reward yourself for doing it - I struggle alot, twice I nearly didn't take DS but ended up taking him about 20 mins late. Can you take them now for the rest of the afternoon?

can you not cheat a bit and use reputable online companies - M & S/Amazon/HMV etc for the pressies to save you the postage. postman/binman - box of chocs at whichever supermarket has tins on offer, or failing that just bung em a fiver.

I feel like that too, Trin.

Most days I don't get the shopping, don't walk anywhere, JUST the school run in the car and make sure the pets are fed and the kids have something basic.

That's it,

I don't do meals or proper dinner or anything.

I have come to the conclusion that the world is best avoided.

Work out the basic minimum and just do that.

have you had your GP do bloods recently, in case thyroid/anaemia could be a factor in feeling tired/more forgetful than normal?

mind you I've really felt the change in hour and had problems with my short term memory this week, think there is definitely something to this SAD thing unfortunately!

Ok could you spend today sorting uniforms and bags for tomorrow so you are not rushing in the morning.

Forget about today my DS had 3 days off last week because he was a bit rundown the way I see it is we all need a duvet day now and again.

Could you ask a parent at school to do the school run for your girls a couple of days a week? I am paying someone 20.00 a week to drop my dd off at home every night from next week.

Christmas -Amazon have a lot of deals especially from next week and it will all be delivered so no having to go out in the cold I know you are worried about money but there are some amazing deals around at the moment.

Just remember it dosen't matter how much you spend at Christmas you will make it magical because you are an amazing Mum.

When is the headstone going up? That's bound to make you wobbly and Christmas is a rough time for anyone who's lost someone they love like you have.

Definitely second Amazon for pressies - they'll send them for you!
